Palmetto Builder Guide is an information directory. Listings are compiled from public records and builder websites and are provided as-is; we check them on the dates shown but cannot guarantee they are current. Nothing here is a recommendation, endorsement, review or guarantee of any contractor, and we are not party to any agreement you make with one. Verify any builder on the South Carolina LLR license lookup. Obtain written contracts and bids before hiring.

Sponsored placements are paid advertising, labeled as such, and do not represent an assessment of quality. Paid placements appear in a band labeled Sponsored. They never change the order of the main list, which is set by verification and completeness only. No business pays to be listed, verified, or named an Editor’s pick. Business owners may request corrections at any time; we may decline to remove accurate public-record information.

Paid placements. Monthly placements cancel any time and run to the end of the paid month. Annual products run for the full year. Annual products are refundable within 14 days of payment if the placement has not yet gone live. Monthly placements are not refunded for a partial month. Packages are not refundable once any component is live. We may decline or end a placement, with a pro-rated refund of any unused prepaid period, if the business loses its registration, its website goes offline, or a public record changes in a way the listing would have to disclose. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card details. Prices are stated on the For custom home builders page. Prices for the various placements are subject to change. The price of an active recurring monthly or annual order never increases while the subscription stays active. If we lower the price of a placement you hold, you automatically pay the lower price at your next renewal. If you cancel and later repurchase, the then-current price applies.

Managing a subscription. Cancel, update your card, or download invoices any time through the Stripe customer portal (log in with the email you paid with). Open the customer portal, or write to the editor and we will do it for you.
